A man breaking and collecting rocks on the banks of the Salween River for use in as construction aggregate. Kayin state's unique limestone formations, which typify the landscape and are key to tourism in the area, have been eyed for future cement production, with approximately 10 limestone mining operations underway and another four exploration licenses granted.
