Starting out in smaller ski jumps in the forest nearby William Kalfoss (right) wasn't even 14 when in Sept 2010 he got the opportunity to try this ski jump hill which will be part of the World Ski Championships in skiing in 2011. .Midtstubakken is part of the Holmenkollen Ski Jump arena and has been rebuilt and upgraded to host the 2011 Championships. .In addition five smaller recruitment hills with year round facilities will be built, which ski jumping enthusiasts hope will make sure the Norwegian national sport will survive. .FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 will take place in Oslo from 23 February to 6 March 2011.
